I had the privilege of giving Mary lace tutorials.... just the two of us... either at her house or mine in Medstead ... We had such fun, sometimes not much lace was done but always some, she showed great persistence! I have now 2 of her lace bobbins which I will always hold dear.

I will cherish my memories of those times. Mary's grace and charm, her sense of humour, her intelligence, her faith and, not least, her great love of family.

Sadly I will not be with you but will be thinking not only of Mary but also of all of you and holding you in the light.
